I first bought a label maker when my older daughter was a baby and I was spending an inordinate amount of time and energy filling our freezer with healthy finger foods. The label maker helped me maintain a record of my extensive baby food stash (after all the quinoa-banana pancake won’t look all that different from an apple-quinoa pancake, and it’s not like that you feed your child two identical items at once). Even more important I felt as if I was at the top of my game regardless of the fact that many days were just trying to drag my little girl out the door and walk around the block.
